Archives Part II

These are a few of the books I had not seen before.

Archives

I know about a few of the archives, Gutenberg,University of Arizona, the link thru Georgia Seitz.
I did not know about the Library of Congress. There are a small group of tatting books there and some I have not seen before. Check it out: http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=tatting
Once you click on your choice you can choose to read the book online, good for deciding whether it's worthwhile saving or if you already have it. Or you can save it to pdf.

Finger Tatting Video

I've posted a video tutorial on finger tatting. The quality isn't the best,I've no experience with video but hopefully you will get the idea. I had the hardest time figuring finger tatting out from the written directions and I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a video out there for finger tatting and I've been wanting to try to make one for a year now.
Here's hoping it is useful

I'm Late again.

Why is it that no matter how much it bothers me to miss a deadline, I manage to anyway!
I did finally finish and mail off my quilt block and now that it's gone I've thought of thousands of other ways I could have embellished it. In general though I'm happy with the way it turned out, it is after all my first attempt at crazy quilting. Wanna See?

Hand-dyed (W)hoarder?

Who asked "Show us your stash"?
Finian Lord of the Threads, with Shuttle Trend Lab products.
Karey Solomon's beautiful colorways
Ok,Ok,you caught me, the rest of it. These are from Lady Shuttlemaker and Yarnplayer. Oops, there are also 2 of TatsKools yummy flavors in there too!
Yes, I shop more than I tat.

Wealthier than I you can never be!

Because I have friends who tat for me.
Oh alright you can be as wealthy.
I suppose we all have friends who have tatted for us, I am currently sharing photo's of my wealth.
Please enjoy.
Finian is gloating over this treasure received from Marie S. of Palmetto Tatters.  This is an amazing and well loved piece.
I think he stores all his gold in it.
A Tea Wallet and tatting from Tatting Goddess. Of course the design is from Martha Ess. I only wish you could see these works in person. Tatted by Fairies and Leprechauns they must be, the work is so fine.
This tatter's work needs no introduction, Tatskool! Of course!
More treasures from VicTats. Talented Lass don't you agree?
